Grotte

Grotte is a city on Sicily in the Province of Agrigento. It has 5956 citizens and spreads over a area of23 qkm. The name of the town Grotte, which origin is estimated back to the Greek period, is a result of the numerous grottos in the neighbourhood. The town hall, the Church del Carmine from the 16th century and last but not least the parish church belong to the most important sights.
