Comiso is located in the province Ragusa and has about 27.000 inhabitants. The colonisation of Comiso goes far back to the Sicels and some relicts of this first settlement are well preserved still today. You can see some necropolises in the surrounding of the town. Another sight is a castle from the 14th century. Besides, some churches of the town are worth mentioning like Chiesa San Francesca, Chiesa Madre and Chiesa Sant’ Annunziata.
