Cefalú is probably one of the most popular destinations on Sicily. Especially the picturesque centre of the little fishing village and its beautiful beach give this small town its charm. The history of Cefalú goes far back. Already at the times of Phoenicians and Sicels, a settlement can be documented by some findings. Cefalú belongs to the province Palermo and has ca. 13.000 inhabitants.
